IMath LG Leonila “Candy” Francisco (02 June 1980 – 17 June 2026)

The Institute of Mathematics mourns the passing of Leonila “Candy” Francisco on 17 June 2026 at the age of 46.

Fondly known as “Ate Candy” to both faculty and students, she served the Institute as a security guard for more than 15 years. She was a beloved presence in the IMath community, a dependable guardian, and a source of kindness and warmth. We gratefully recognize her years of loyalty, dedicated service, and steadfast commitment to the Institute.
