Teaching Assistant Positions at the Institute of Mathematics

Applications are now being accepted for TEACHING ASSISTANTS

Teaching Assistants are either Teaching Associates (TAs)–master’s students, or Teaching Fellows (TFs) – PhD students, who are pursuing their studies half‐time and are teaching half‐time.

-UP Teaching Assistantship Program (Revised 1349th BOR, 2019 Nov 28)
ELIGIBILITY:
1. Outstanding baccalaureate graduates of UP (honor graduates or those who belong to the upper 10% of a graduating class)
2. Outstanding current postgraduate student or applying in postgraduate program of the Institute of Mathematics
3. With outstanding teaching, communication and research skills

Qualified applicants must send the following documents to hiring@math.upd.edu.ph (cc: adminofficer@math.upd.edu.ph):
1. Letter of intent addressed to the Director (indicate postgraduate program enrolled or intending to enroll in)
2. Curriculum vitae with contact information
3. Transcript of records/true copy of grades
4. Two (2) letters of recommendation from former professors/research advisers*

*must be sent by email directly by the recommending person, and not by the applicant.
