The department offers an undergraduate course, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, which will allow students to choose an area of specialization. These areas include number theory, operations research, actuarial science, analysis, etc.

The department has a number of graduate programs, namely, Master of Science in Mathematics, Master of Science in Applied Mathematics, Professional Masters in Applied Mathematics (Actuarial Science), Master of Arts in Mathematics, and the Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics.

The Ph.D. (Math) Program is intended to encourage the development of mathematics in the Philippines through the production of highly trained mathematicians whose research work contribute to the development of new knowledge. The M.S. (Mathematics) Program is designed primarily for those seeking advance mathematical training in preparing for doctoral studies (whether it be in mathematics, statistics or some related field), for research, for teaching (senior level undergraduate mathematics courses). read more

The M.S. Applied Mathematics Program is designed for students who wish to obtain good training in applied mathematics. Its curriculum is designed in such a way that graduates of the program can either work in a research and development institution or proceed to the Department's Ph.D. Mathematics program. read more

The M.A. Mathematics Program is intended primarily for teachers or would-be teachers of college mathematics courses for non-mathematics majors such as students of business administration, economics, engineering, pre-medicine, the social science, etc. (Teachers who plan to teach mathematics to math majors or who have plans of enrolling in a Ph.D. Mathematics Program are advised to join the M.S.
